My Memories at Panmure Bridge School

My first memory of Panmure Bridge was my first class and my first teacher. My first teacher at Panmure Bridge was Miss Day and my first class was room 6.

In 2010 when I was year 5, Room 6 made a short movie for the Manaiakalani film festival named Jandle Man. Everyone participated in the movie whether it was filming acting or getting the props ready. My role in the movie was to be boy and show off my Michael Jackson dance moves.

In 2011 the year 6’s & 5’s all got their own netbooks, we were all so excited and happy to get our first ever netbooks to use at school. We were the first people at our school to get netbooks.

In 2012 I had got chosen for head boy and Lavinia got chosen for head girl, we were the first head student's ever at Panmure Bridge School. As head boy I’ve had the opportunity to do many important things for our school and also very fun things such as meeting new people and showing them around the school, and going to awesome things like National Young Leaders Day.

In 2012 my class and I were the first year 7’s ever in this school. Miss Kirkpatrick said that we had much more responsibility since we were now the first year 7’s and that we were they oldest children in the school.

In 2013 when I was year 8, the year 7’s & 8’s from rooms 9 & 6 went to camp at hunua falls. We stayed there for 3 days and had lots of fun. At camp we went kayaking and did raft building, archery, orienteering and we also did high ropes. At the end of camp we all did a performance and got certificates for camp as well.
In 2013 on a S
aturday we had a school party. The whole school came and we all had lots of fun. There were things like free candy floss free coffee and hot chocolates and free prizes, there were also pro wrestles.

My years at Panmure Bridge School were amazing and I will never forget them.

Long ago there was a man named Chip who lived in a church, Chip had  been living in the church for 32 years the church was on the border line of  a small city named china. Until he died nobody knew how it happened in the old church.

So the nuns from the church down the road moved into the church because before chip owned the building he had stole it from the nans and then something went wrong when he was living there. There were seven chairs in the main room, that had been there since he had owned the building.

So the seven nuns all sat on one chair each and the they all started floating. Then something horrendously bad happened? Suddenly the chairs started going to different places. The first chair went to New Zealand south IsLand and the 2nd one went to New Zealand North IsLand,The 3rd and 4th chairs went to Brazil and the 5th one ended up in France. The 6th chair flew straight up while it was spinning around and the last one stayed Floating.

The nun was left floating and was there until the church had been demolished  15 years later, because the nun from the other churches were scared that the church had been cursed or it was haunted. So they ended it all with a bulldozer and a couple of cranes and diggers. POW, CRASH the building was gone.

When we are doing research we need to find corroborating sources of information.  A good way to do this is to find a book and a website that give you the same information.  This means that the information in most likely to be accurate.
At the end of the presentation it is important to cite the books and websites you have used.  This activity shows you how to present the book. information.
