One scorching hot day we went to Eastern Beach. The view of the beach was spectacular and amazing. The whole of Panmure Bridge School went there on a trip. It was fantastic. I was so happy and I think everyone else was too. Do you know what I was looking forward to the most? It was getting to go kayaking at the beach and paddling as quickly as possible.
When we got to Eastern beach it was lovely to feel the cold breeze on a summer’s day. We were all full of energy and ready to run around and play beach games.
The first thing I did was play some intense touch. It was so hard and tiring that we had to have a rest half way through the game. Then I started playing cricket, I didn’t get to bat but bowling was still fun . Then I had something yummy to eat.
After playing sports I then went out in the bright yellow kayak through the calm and salty water with my group and some of the teachers. Some of the kids in my group fell out of their kayaks and had to swim back to shore. We got to race one of the teachers back. We had to paddle as fast as we could I beat Ms Kirkpatrick to shore and that was fun for the last bit of the trip.
The Eastern beach trip was so much fun and I think everyone enjoyed it and I hope we can go back there soon.
